Are you, or someone you know, interested in Supported Independent Living (SIL)?
You Matter Disability Support is currently exploring the development of SIL accommodation in Bendigo and surrounding areas and is seeking expressions of interest from NDIS participants who may be interested in future housing opportunities.
Our vision is to create safe, welcoming homes where participants can live as independently as possible while receiving personalised support tailored to their individual needs and goals.

What is Supported Independent Living?
Supported independent living (SIL) is funding for a support worker to help you for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You may share a support worker or have an individual support worker, depending on how much help you need. The support worker will help or supervise day-to-day tasks within your home.
When will homes become available?
We are currently in the planning stages and gathering expressions of interest.
Can my Support Coordinator contact you?
Absolutely! We welcome referrals from Support Coordinators, families, allied health professionals and participants. Our referral form is available to download via our Contact Page.
What types of support are included in SIL?
Supports are tailored to the individuals needs and can include assistance with personal care, meal preparation, community participation, medication assistance and transportation.
